Vicky, the host, was incredibly welcoming and provided us with invaluable recommendations for local eateries and activities. the tasteful decor of the property, complete with complimentary slippers, dressing gowns, and a thoughtful bottle of wine and biscuits, made us feel like royalty. the jacuzzi bath in the bathroom was a luxurious touch that helped me unwind after a day of exploring the area. the comfortable bed with plush pillows and duvet, under a skylight window for stargazing, ensured a peaceful night's sleep. the convenient location near the train station allowed for easy access to nearby towns like Filey, Scarborough, and York. the Old Folly truly provided the perfect backdrop for a relaxing and memorable getaway.
